This is a significant site for Stanley family history written and particularly well documented by an English historian of many years standing. While concentrating on the Stanleys of Sussex & Kent it convincingly argues the case that the Stanley family may have more than one origin, the single origin theory is something many sites take for granted. Recent major update done in August 2004. |
The focus of this site are the Stanleys of Storeton & Bebington in Cheshire. Once again this is another well documented and nicely laid out family history. The author demonstrates that some of the previously published history on the lineage of this particular family is incorrect. |
|
An important site for Stanleys researchers, especially those with ancestors in Connecticut. |
Specialising in the the Isle of Man and the Stanleys who ruled that island for more than 300 years. This is a very important and well-documented site for anyone associated with these Stanleys. |

If you have any other particular favourites that I’ve overlooked please let me know. |
